Final Countdown – 9 Days til Due Date
We admit, we are far behind in our blogging duties! While we haven’t posted pictures since Week 30, we have taken them, so here are some updates to the bump: Weeks 32, 35 and 37.

We will hit Week 39 on Wednesday and we are ready for him to arrive any time! Scott seems to think he will be fashionably late, but I refuse to acknowledge that possibility until the 27th has actually passed us by. This July heat has kept me inside most days, which only adds to the eagerness for our little boy to make his appearance.
As far as we know, we have all of the supplies needed for his homecoming, though I’m sure there will be things I send Scott out for once we get home. With exception of hanging a few things on the wall, the nursery is set and organized, laundry washed and put away. In the meantime, he continues to move around inside, letting me know he is running out of space – to which I encourage him to just come out and enjoy all this wonderful space we’ve readied for him here! Scott likes to play “Move the Bump” – sort of a pregnancy version of Whack-A-Mole, but less violent. When the baby pushes an elbow out on the left side, Scott will give it a nudge and laugh when a heel pokes out then on the right side. Yes, all very amusing, especially to my internal organs getting jostled around and my skin stretching on the outside. I can’t deny I still love feeling his little (though now seem quite big) movements! I think I will miss that. After 39 weeks of being pregnant, it will be strange to NOT be pregnant.
